With a background in Fine Art and a creatively inclined family, Hana developed an early appreciation for materials, texture, form and colour. After graduating from Central Saint Martins, her artistic background naturally found its way into floral design.

Born in Japan and raised there until the age of ten, Hana spent much of her childhood exploring the countryside, foraging for seasonal fruits, vegetables and flowers. These early experiences shaped her connection to nature and continue to inspire her wild, free-flowing approach to flowers.

Hana later ran a flower shop in Camden Passage for over three years, becoming part of its vibrant community of independent shops and makers. Today, Hana Flowers London focuses on creative workshops, floral design and events, bringing people together through flowers and hands-on experiences.

Hana was awarded Gold and Silver at Chelsea in Bloom in 2022 and 2023, for floral installations created in collaboration with Love My Human.
